I was gonna have some big fancy intro, but I seem to be drawing a blank, so here we go...
"20 minute break"
In the first minute or so, you see people talking about this annoying guy in the office, and you immediately assume that it's the guy eating by himself, who was Ryan. They pull a swerve and the annoying one turns out to be a vending machine. I thought that was just a prop.
Thank you for surprising us. It's good to know you still can.
"Chase Sapphire"
First they play the commercial, which then segues into an onstage performance by Richie and Jamie.
Jamie is a welcome addition to this show. I think she can go far if she wants to.
"International dance-off"
Tied for best sketch of this show.
This was my personal favorite, and not just because of the laughs. If you've been around long enough, or you know me, you know why it's my favorite. It got me fired up again. Is it time for another challenge?
"Miss Sinclair"
For me, the highlight of this one was not the comedy, but the character. I couldn't believe that Stephanie had pulled off something like that, but she did.
"Everybody Plays the Fool"
I didn't care for Sam's red costume, but what ensued ties this sketch for the best one of the March 26 show. Seeing everyone got involved in the ways they did while that song was being sung was just silly.
What puzzles me is how Danny was able to stay in character like that. His thing was that he just suffered a breakup and he was sad all the time, and at one point his mouth was duct-taped.
The March 12 show saw Farce Side truly find its footing, but this one proved just how amazing they are. If you guys keep going at this pace, a 10 out of 10 will be in your future.
My final score is 9.5 out of 10.
