Every time, I have mixed feelings about this show. It’s guaranteed to be an amazing one, but it signals the end of Farce Side until September, maybe August.
"Poke-Potter"
One of my personal favorites. Somehow mixing both Harry Potter and Pokemon worked. The ironic thing is, I've never read Harry Potter nor seen it. Did I or did I not say that this was a contender for this show?
Score: 9.0 out of 10.
"Homeless"
Carly was good, but how did Ryan stay in character? I think it must be hard to maintain that kind of frustration.
Score: 8.75 out of 10.
"Everybody Plays the Fool" (Part 1)
I had no doubt this sketch would be here. Unfortunately, the appropriate song was not cued up and ready to play. That didn’t help the score.
Luckily, the general sillyness and energy keeps it pretty high.
Score: 9.25 out of 10.
"Your Mom"
I’ve seen sketches that use puns, but this one was something else. The drug they’re talking about here is called “your mom,” and every time they talk about using it, well you can guess were that led.
Score: 8.5 out of 10.
"My Interests"
I’ve said this about Kevin Horst, but now I’m saying it about Danny Vega. He is one of the best things to happen to Farce Side in the last few years. Once again, I made a good call.
Score: 9.75 out of 10.
"Life Comes At You Fast" (Part 2)
Only in sketch comedy can people hook up, get married, have a baby, have the baby circumcised, get divorced, and hook up with a prostitute. Oh wait, there’s also Mike Margetis playing multiple characters.
Score: 10 out of 10.
"Mimes"
After seeing this, I wonder if there should be more sketches like this. Not necessarily with mimes, I mean sketches that rely more on physical comedy and less on dialogue.
Score: 8.75 out of 10.
"Number 62"
Having seen this one for the third time, I realize that I underestimated “Number 62.” I wound up laughing more than the last time I saw it.
Score: 9.0 out of 10.
"Groundhog Day" (Part 3)
Ever since that movie was released, the basic plotline has been used several times. I wondered when Farce Side would be using it.
Luckily, Sam and Danny were able to take this concept and use it effectively. I’m glad it ended the way it did.
Score: 9.75 out of 10.
"Glee!"
Honestly, I would’ve loved to see the “U.N. Dance-off” sketch again, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy this one.
Carly’s time on Farce Side was short, but if she was gonna go, I’m glad she went out with this one!
Score: 10 out of 10.
Speaking of departures, it took me by surprise that Jamie was graduating. That's a shame. She could've gone so far.
Anyways, I had fun in the last few months. Please have more females on the cast. You've only got two now.
