We're back. Farce Side has new people, yet they're missing some people. So how did this Farce Side fare in the first original show of the Fall?
“Red Robin...ummm?” Somehow, this just doesn’t get old. As the name says, a couple is celebrating their 2-year anniversary, but then the wife’s past demons come back to bite her in the ass, including some old boyfriends. A fairly good way to begin Farce Side in the Fall.
“Russian Roulette” We’ve got two friends, confessing secrets to each other, and each time they do, they pull the trigger. Of course they gotta give you that big set-up: “is the gun gonna go off?” It wears off, but then the surprise.
I’m not complaining about the majority of the sketch, but I have to admit the pay-off was something I saw coming. Obviously the gun will discharge at the end.
“Invisible man!” The “Mimes” sketch from earlier this year relied specifically on physical comedy and no dialogue between the mimes. The “Invisible Man” piece went in a different direction, as it was comedy that couldn’t be seen, but heard, except for one. I will applaud them for trying this. I can’t remember Farce Side using the invisible plot device very often.
“Funeral for Mrs. Margetis” Oh, you guys just love to be inappropriate.
While I thought this was a solid show, it was a little off for me, mainly due to a few people - Danny, Connor, and Ben for example - not being there. Now it’s got me thinking, “will FS get another 10 rating now that they’re missing some big players?”
That's exactly what I intend to find out.
My final score is 8.75 out of 10.

Was "bad robber" not good enough for a review x?
Already skipping sketches...
