Thus far, the last month of Farce Side has had its ups and downs. The biggest up is that Farce Side scored their second 10 rating with Mike Margetis and RIchie Tolway as directors. That didn't happen here, but I personally thought it was a decent show.
"Halo"
The music, the announcer, the humping, I would've thought it was funny even if I wasn't a Halo fan, which I am. With that, I absolutely loved this one, and if it doesn't make it into the "Best of" show I will be very disappointed.
"News in the air/Weathermen"
The scene is this: four guys are sitting in the same row of an airplane about to land, and they are listening to a news report while on the plane.
This was mainly dependent on the expressions of the passengers, and the news announcers. The people we could see didn't talk, and the people we couldn't see talked a lot. I love the irony.
"Never forget a beard"
Hmm, so we have a guy that gets falsely accused for basically everything that goes wrong in this sketch, including an armed robbery.
This is the kind of comedy that has people going, "oh come on" in response to the wrong guy getting punished. I saw the payoff coming, but still decent.
"Inappropriate shirt"
The 'cringe' sketch of the show. The guy is on a date, he wears a shirt that says "Rapist," and then he makes all of these allusions to actual rapists. Why?
I've been around long enough to know the answer. This is one of many times that FS has used cringe comedy in their shows. They're willing to test the waters, and I don't think they could've lasted this long if it didn't work. Not my favorite sketch, but I get why it was done.
"Cigarette bum"
Another short but sweet one.
"Snow White"
Now, I don't think this was a bad sketch in terms of content, but I think it was bad in terms of placement. I just don't believe it should have been the one to close the show.
My final score is 8.95 out of 10.
