I'm trying to think of some clever way to open this review, but I'm drawing a blank, so let's just get into it, shall we?
"Walking Dance Phenomenon...Off!" Two men are walking towards each other, yet can't seem to get past each other, so what happens next? The song "Yeah!" from Usher starts playing and they dance together, and against each other.
Watching this, I believed that I was the inspiration for this, with my tendency to have dance-offs and all. The moves were pretty well thought out. A potential contender for the last Spring 2011 show.
"Gun to my head" Easily my favorite in the show. It like something out of a sitcom, but still very fun to watch. The theme is that a guy wouldn't do something if he had a gun to his head, and guess what happens next.
"Chinese finger traps" Not to belittle what I saw, because I've never seen FS use finger traps like this, but I got that "I've seen this before" feeling while watching it. Still, physical comedy is essential when doing sketches, so this was good for honing those skills.
"Nub Be-Gone" I've seen humor involved amputees onstage, but like this? Nope. A cream meant for growing limbs, I have to say I didn't expect that.
My final score is 9 out of 10.
