With the 8th Annual SD Comedy Festival two weeks away, we are treated to a very satisfying display of comedic talent from the Farce Side Comedy Hour, perhaps the best thus far in '08.
Lately, my mood has been less than stellar. However, on the 27th, I saw someone I hadn't seen in almost two years, and my spirits were raised in a big way. This show raised them even higher, and I could not be more grateful.
"Halftime" Once again, ASU takes another stab at the school that is U of A.
A fairly decent way to start it all off. As usual Kevin takes it home, but with mostly everyone in this sketch, I was let-down that they didn't scream out at the end, as they sometimes do at the end of the first sketch.
"Second Date" What is it with Farce Side and their dating humor? Inquiring minds wanna know!
Joel, Kyle, and Audrey, all good, but the payoff at the end seemed a bit rushed.
"Wrong sketch" or "300 Star Rings" What started out as a simple Star Wars sketch evolved into a multi-layered gathering of cult-favorites.
Honestly, I've never even seen 300, or any Lord of the Rings movies. Yeah, I'm daring enough to admit that. I loved this anyway, to the point I stomped my feet.
"Virtual Reality" Great concept, but there's at least one person in the sketch who overdid it.
"Goin out in Scottsdale" As is sometimes the case, the last sketch was the best. I will vote for it for the following two reasons. I stomped my feet laughing, and it was written by two great people.
My final score is 9.25 out of 10.

Dear Factor, I realize your penis has a crush on Alison, but she actually had a very miniscule part in this sketch. The girl appearing in this sketch, who's name you left out, was none other than Audrey. Clearly your reviews lose some credibility when you can't even remember who's in what sketch. But more probable is you're leaving her name out of your review on purpose in order to slightly offend her. It's pretty pathetic you're only outlet to deal with the problem that you have with me personally is through the internet and not in person.
As of late I opted not to speak with you at the end of our shows, but this is a decision hard to keep if you continue to write dumb shit about myself or Audrey in your reviews or otherwise. If you don't want your feelings hurt in the future, I strongly recommend you leave mine and Audrey's name out of everything that you do. In every sense, you're instigating a situation that you apparently don't want to be a part of. It's very clear to me you only put yourself in these situations and talk about not coming back to our shows because you desperately need the attention or sympathy. If this wasn't true, you'd actually not be putting yourself in these situations or repeatedly say you were leaving and return every week.
So in short, don't write these reviews just to be an asshole to a couple of people. If you have a problem with me, you can tell me in person, not passive aggressively online.

You are looking WAY too deep into this. I got their names mixed up. I swear I didn't do it on purpose. It's been changed, and I apologize.
This is why I didn't review the March 21 show, because I knew you were gonna start in on me. Do me a favor and just let me enjoy the shows.

Don't be so surprised Rhoadsmaster. I'm actually very picky when it comes to movies.
I'm just glad that someone can post on one of my threads without attacking me.

I have to admit, Trevor's jokes are a breath of fresh air compared to the shit I've had to endure lately, which I don't deserve.
BTW, I hate Cheetos!

They're actually making fun of you, dude. Rhoads and Trevor making fun of me and your recent attitude are two different things.

I propose we make fun of someone who really deserves it. I mean, making fun of the factor is alright if you are in to that sort of thing, but let's be honest and focus our attention on Steve. I mean, he's just a vaginal fart away from being the biggest loser I know.
